New Automations designer to help you build notification logic faster

Today, we're launching a fresh experience for Automations, a visual tool (along with API) for designing notification workflows. When you create a new automation template in Courier, you will see a new UI in dark mode and a drag-and-drop canvas.

When we launched Courier Automations in 2022, our goal was to make it easier to create customized notification workflows, which often required developers building a separate backend service for. We also wanted to increase the speed at which minor logic tweaks could take place by enabling teams outside of engineering to make their own changes when needed. After months of studying how customers utilized Courier Automations, we undertook an ambitious redesign to unlock these capabilities, and we are thrilled to invite you to experience it firsthand.
